Jiangxi Kingan Hi-Tech Company Limited, was founded in 1998. Affiliated to Jiangxi Non-Ferrous Metal Geological Survey Bureau, Kingan now is a hi-tech stock enterprise specializing in the research, development and manufacturing of new chemical materials—zirconium materials. As one of first batch pre-IPO enterprises of Nanchang city, we now have 359 employees, including one doctor, 5 masters, 12 senior technicians, 42 technicians with medium titles and 161 staffs with college certificates.

       As one of most developing new materials in 21st century, zirconium materials are widely used in hi-tech industrials such as electronics, telecommunications, metallurgy, chemical industry, nuclear energy, nuclear electricity, medicinal treatment, ceramics and jewellery, etc. Since Our foundation, Kingan has devoted to the research, development and production of zirconium materials. Focused on the development of new products and based on the construction of new projects, we have been working hard to expand production scale, develop downstream products and extend industrial chain. Up to now, we have had the ability of manufacturing 20,000  tons  of zirconium oxychloride, 2,000  tons  of zirconium oxide, 3,000  tons  of zirconium basic carbonate, 3,000  tons  of zirconium sulfate and 120  tons  of stabilized zirconium dioxide every year. At the same time, we are working hard on the construction planning of nuclear grade sponge zirconium production line.

      At present, our zirconium products enjoy high reputation in international market, and they are well sold in USA, Europe and Japan, etc. At the same time, our zirconium products are the famous branded products in China. They are ranking the top position in this trade of China, and occupying over 20% of market. Our zirconium basic carbonate products are in accordance with the leading standards of China and world. There are only 3 manufacturers in present market are capable of producing top-grade zirconium basic carbonate products, one is Kingan, and the rest are companies in USA and UK.

       As an ISO9002 quality system and ISO14001 EMS approved enterprise, Kingan now is a key hi-tech enterprise of Torch program of China, the industrialization base of technical achievements of China 863 Plan in "tenth five-year development program", Hi-tech enterprise of Jiangxi province, Technical Example Enterprise of Nanchang city and Technical Creativity Example base of Nanchang city for youth. Now, we establish broad cooperative relationships with academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Tsinghua University, Central South University and General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals, etc.  

      Now, Kingan has tackled a series of research topics successfully, including "Application development of key materials of nuclear energy (Guiding project of 863-plan from MOST)", separating method of zirconium-hafnium in MIBK extraction, the pilot-scale experiment of nuclear grade sponge zirconium and hafnium products, the patent of "The preparation method of nuclear energy grade zirconia and hafnium oxide in double-solvent extraction of MIBK". These achievements build a firm base for the domestic production of key materials of nuclear energy. We believe that these products will play key roles in the nuclear electricity industry and nuclear military industry of China!
